A UBS Global Asset Management product chief has left to join DWS Scudder, the US-based mutual fund division of Deutsche Asset Management.

Douglas Beck, formerly executive director for product management at UBS Global AM and president of its mutual fund family, has been appointed head of product development at DWS. He reports to Axel Schwarzer, head of DWS.
