Renowned über-bear Dylan Grice, ranked as the top economics and strategy research analyst by Thomson Reuters Extel in each of the last two years, is leaving French bank Societe Generale for a role on the buyside in the New Year.

Grice, an investment strategist in SocGen's cross-asset research team in London who writes the Popular Delusions global strategy note, will work his last day at the bank today, before starting in his new role early next year after a period of gardening leave.
