Dyson adds to his top team at US quant shop QMA

Company bills recruitment of former Old Mutual exec as the latest step in Dyson’s bid to internationalise and grow QMA

Andrew Dyson, the former BlackRock executive who has led US quantitative asset manager QMA since 2017, has recruited a new chief business officer.

Linda Gibson arrives from rival US group BrightSphere Investment Group, the new name for the former Old Mutual Asset Management, which was sold by the UK-South African insurance conglomerate in 2016. She had worked there for 18 years.
