Eastern Europe office investor to tap markets for €300m

Globalworth wants to lift its liquidity ahead of a planned move to London's main market next year

Eastern Europe office investor to tap markets for €300m

A UK-listed property investor focused on commercial real estate in central and eastern Europe wants to raise €300m in the equity markets ahead of a move to the London Stock Exchange's main market.

Globalworth said it will use the money to fund new investments, as well as attract new investors and boost liquidity ahead of its planned move from AIM to London's main market in 2018. The firm has a primary focus on Romania and wants to broaden its portfolio elsewhere in southeastern and central Europe.
