Eban, the financial services search boutique, has bucked the downsizing trend in the recruitment industry by hiring three consultants in London and Tokyo.

Peter Smith and Peter Win have joined the firm's London office while Michio Kohno is returning to Tokyo from Hong Kong to bolster the firm's presence in Japan.
