Ahmed Heikal, chairman and founder of Mena-focused private equity firm Citadel Capital, has reportedly been banned from travelling by the Egyptian government.

Egypt's public prosecutor has ordered the ban in relation to allegations over the wasting of public funds according to Reuters which cited the Egyptian state news agency.
