The European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Union's financing institution, is to install a real-time, straight-through processing (STP) treasury, cash, risk and asset management system to manage its treasury, borrowing and lending operations.

EIB will install Finance Kit, an STP solution from Trema Group, the Finnish provider of software solutions for financial institutions. The bank will use the system to re-engineer and integrate its processes, manage risk and consolidate its existing operations onto one system. Finance Kit will be implemented at EIB's headquarters in Luxembourg.
