Eight-point plan sought to revive securitisation market

Four international securities associations have published an eight-point plan to increase transparency in the structured credit market in a bid to revive the securitisation industry, which has ground to a halt as complex credit deals dry up.

The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, the American Securitisation Forum, the European Securitisation Forum and the Australian Securitisation Forum today published a long-awaited joint report, after banding together on July 7.
