Oriel elevates head of equities

O'Leary is made deputy chief executive as the firm rebuilds with hire of former Nomura Code brokers

UK mid-market stockbroker Oriel Securities has elevated its head of equities to the role of deputy chief executive, as the firm rebuilds with the hire of a former Nomura Code team following recent departures.

Eithne O'Leary, a former head of research who was made head of equities in March, was promoted to her latest role last month. A spokesman confirmed the appointment.
