Electronic traders leave UBS

UBS has parted company with its head of portfolio trading and a rising star in its algorithmic team, in the latest example of top electronic traders leaving bulge bracket investment banks.

Phil Hodey, the managing director and head of portfolio trading at UBS, left late last month after 12 years at the bank, where he most recently reported to Philip Allison, managing director and head of European client trading and execution.
