Tesla chief executive has built 9.2% holding in social-media company

Twitter said it would appoint Tesla chief executive Elon Musk to its board of directors a day after he disclosed a 9.2% stake in the social-media company.

Twitter said it will appoint Musk to its board for a two-year term.
