Emerging markets were the highest performing hedge fund strategy in June, posting 1.6%, compared with the Dow Jones Industrial Index return of -3.8%.
Robert Sloan, chief executive officer of Credit Suisse First Boston Tremont Index, said: "Hedge fund strategies continue to post positive gains and have outperformed all global indices by a wide margin year-to-date."
