Buyout firms opt for in-house lawyers

Turnaround firm Endless is the latest to hire its own general counsel amid increased regulation

UK turnaround firm Endless has become the latest private equity house to hire an in-house lawyer as firms move to have greater internal support and cope with increasing regulation.

The firm has hired Simon Hardcastle, a director from Leeds-based law firm Walker Morris, to the newly-created role of general counsel.
