Enron Europe was in crisis weeks before administration

Directors of Enron Europe were so nervous about its finances that they called in PricewaterhouseCoopers as a crisis measure three weeks before putting the company into administration on November 29 last year, a report from the administrators at PwC said.

By the end of November 2001, Enron Europe owed its Houston-based parent Enron $2.6bn (€3bn).
