E.On angered as regulators delay Endesa deal

Spanish energy regulators have reportedly angered E.On, the German utility, after hitting its €29.1bn ($40bn) deal for Endesa, the power group, with delays.

The Spanish regulator, The Comisión Nacional de Energía, has asked E.On for more data on its bid for Endesa, the largest in Europe this year, delaying approval at least until July 25.
