EPIC Asset Management, the fixed income specialist with over $4.2bn (€3.48bn) assets under management, has hired Colin Tipping from Fidelity Investments to win more business from insurers.

Jo Welman, the financial entrepreneur behind EPIC AM said it has a three-year track record appealing in particular to clients looking for a high degree of capital protection.
