EQT has raised €22bn for its latest flagship private equity fund, becoming the latest buyout giant to smash its own records despite a wider downturn in the fundraising market.

The Stockholm-based investment group has closed EQT X at its hard cap, marking a near 40% increase on its previous flagship fund, which closed at €15.6bn in April 2021.
