EQT to focus on 'blue collar' private equity

Private equity firm's head Thomas Von Koch said the firm wouldn't do another deal like ISS

EQT Partners’ managing partner has said that the European private equity firm will cease making big investments similar to ISS, the service industry giant it bought during the boom era.

Speaking at the SuperInvestor conference in Paris on Wednesday, Thomas von Koch said the Stockholm-based firm would shy away from buyouts like ISS, the Denmark-based facility management company that it took private in 2005 alongside GS Capital Partners, the buyout unit of Goldman Sachs.
