Ericsson, the Swedish telecommunications giant, is to use a system developed by SuperDerivatives, a software firm that focuses on providing prices for complex or illiquid products, to develop and price its foreign exchange hedging strategies.
Ericsson is one of several large corporates to have signed up to use the pricing system since January, when SuperDerivatives launched a new version specifically for corporate customers. The Swedish firm will also use the system to check the value of its positions compared with the market.
