Trading volumes on international derivatives exchanges Eurex and Euronext.Liffe were up in April, with volumes on Eurex's electronic bond-trading platform soaring and Euronext.Liffe's single-stock future product attracting volumes.

On Euronext.Liffe, 50.5 million futures and options contracts were traded in April with an average daily volume of 2.5 million contracts. For the year to date, a total of 230 million contracts have been traded.
