Eurex hit by trading errors

Eurex, the Swiss-German derivatives exchange, has suffered another halt in trading following the incorrect posting of a trade in the euro Bundesobligationen (Bobl) bund futures contract.

Trading in the contract was halted for three minutes at 9.30CET on Friday after an erroneous order entry from a customer entered the wrong price for the June contract. This follows a 20-minute halt to trading on Eurex in November when an operating system error caused problems on the exchange's trading screens.
