Eurex, the Swiss-German derivatives exchange joint venture, has appointed Peter Gomez as its new supervisory board chairman.

The appointment at Eurex's annual general meeting yesterday is the second in a matter of weeks for Gomez, who last month took on the role of supervisory board chairman at SWX, the Swiss exchange that launched the joint venture with Deutsche Börse.
