The European trade association for telecoms has appointed Stephanie Liston, head of telecoms at the London office of US law firm McDermott Will & Emery, to its board.

The European Competitive Telecommunications Association is recognised by both the European Commission and Europe's national telecoms regulators as the voice of international telecoms operators with a European presence. The association has grown rapidly to a 300-strong membership since its inception in 1999.
