Euroclear, the pan-European clearing and settlement group, has promoted Guy Schuermans to be chief executive of its Dutch subsidiary, Euroclear Nederland.

Schuermans replaces Peter Sneyers, who is transferring to another division of Euroclear in Brussels, Euroclear Bank, to head up its corporate and tax service department.
