Euroclear has formed a UK Market Advisory Committee to act as the primary source of consultation with the UK market, following the international central securities depository acquisition of CrestCo on September 20.

Pen Kent, former executive director of the Bank of England and a former chairman of both CrestCo and the European Securities Forum, has been named independent chairman of the committee.
