The exchange's announcement follows several acquisitions in Scandinavia this year

Exchange operator Euronext is acquiring the Borsa Italiana Group from the London Stock Exchange in a €4.3bn deal.

The announcement of the deal follows the Paris-headquartered Euronext’s 18 September 

 that it had entered into exclusive discussions with LSE regarding the potential acquisition of the Italian group.
