Euronext, the pan-European stock exchange lining up a bid for the London Stock Exchange, is understood to be in discussions to buy the MTS bond trading platform.

L'Agefi, the French business newspaper, reported this morning that Euronext has been in informal talks with MTS Group for the past year about a possible acquisition.
