Euronext has settled a lawsuit with marketmakers in Amsterdam over the introduction of its new trading system for a tiny fraction of the claim they had lodged last year.

The exchange has paid the Association of Hoeklieden, which represents Dutch marketmakers, 15 million Dutch guilders (€6.8m) in compensation for the adoption of an electronic trading system later this year.
