The European Commission is gearing up to launch yet another consultation outlining reforms to Europe’s post-trade landscape that will likely result in Brussels seizing further control of Europe’s trading infrastructure.

The EC is this month expected to publish suggested reforms to the European settlement landscape that will focus on creating new rules for central securities depositories, according to several sources familiar with the matter.
