If you thought Wall Street had a dreary first quarter, wait until you hear the forecast for Europe.

Few bright spots are expected as European banks start reporting this week - beginning with Barclays on April 27 - with profits and investment bank revenues both expected to fall further than on Wall Street. The darkest clouds are in fixed income and equity trading revenues and in equity capital markets.
