European investment bankers will see a larger rise in bonuses than their US-based counterparts, according to a compensation study that predicts an average rise of up to 20% globally.
European bonuses will rise on average between 15% and 20% this year across investment banking professionals, including salespeople and traders as well as bankers in the advisory business, according to a study from consultancy Options Group. However, Americans in the same businesses are likely to see a rise of only 10% to 15%.
