European cross-border companies urged to streamline structures

Large companies operating across European borders should take advantage of new regulations to simplify their structures.

Richard Setchim, a partner at accountancy group PricewaterhouseCoopers, said the Single European Company Statute, which came into effect last week, gave companies the opportunity to operate in the European Union using a single legal framework.
