Private equity firms are gearing up for a string of fundraisings this year, with 135 European buyout and growth funds looking to collect nearly €50 billion in a bid to take advantage of the good fundraising climate.
A number of well-known European firms are expected to come to market in the coming 12 months including CVC Capital Partners, Nordic Capital, and Equistone Partners Europe.
