The founders of Evercore's European business have hired two former colleagues from JP Morgan's corporate finance division to the advisory boutique's London office, bringing to a close the firm's first phase of hiring for its business outside the US.

Evercore has hired Edward Banks and Ian Ferguson as senior managing directors in its European advisory business. The pair formerly worked at JP Morgan Fleming alongside Evercore Europe's founding members Bernard Taylor and Julian Oakley.
