Evolution, the UK investment bank that has expanded rapidly in equity capital markets over the past few years, is making a push into private equity coverage with the hire of a former partner of accountancy firm BDO into a newly-created role.

Steve Bartlett has joined Evolution's corporate finance team as head of private company and private equity coverage, with immediate effect. He will report into Garry Levin, Evolution's newly appointed head of the corporate finance division.
