Industry charity the European Venture Philanthropy Association has appointed long-time philanthropist Kurt Peleman as its new chief executive.

Peleman joined the EVPA, which provides funds and venture support to various social investment schemes, this month, after working for various philanthropic organisations including international humanitarian aid organisation Médecins Sans Frontières.
