Ex-Bundesbank chief claims more pension

Ernst Welteke, the former Bundesbank president who resigned in the wake of a corporate hospitality scandal last year, is suing the German central bank over his pension package.

Welteke was president of the Bundesbank for four-and-a-half years before quitting in April last year after revelations that Dresdner Bank had paid for him and his family to stay at a luxury Berlin hotel for four days.
