Ex-Credit Suisse debt team joins rival

Swiss investment bank UBS, which is looking to expand its distressed debt business, has hired a clutch of credit bankers who left its domestic rival, Credit Suisse, last year.

The most senior appointment is Dermot Murphy, who joins UBS as co-head of non-investment-grade credit trading. He will share this role with Tim Alexander and will report to Derrick Herndon, European head of credit trading.
