Citigroup has hired Roberto Morelli as a managing director in its European equity sales team. He was formerly at DB Advisors, Deutsche Bank's disbanded internal hedge fund.

Morelli left DB Advisors, where he was responsible for managing the European long/short strategy, in December. Prior to this he was responsible for European cash equity sales to hedge funds and traditional institutions.
