Ex-Goldman chief calls for pensions reform

Jon Corzine, former chairman and chief executive of Goldman Sachs, has demanded a fundamental change to US pension plans in the wake of the collapse of Enron, the bankrupt US energy company.

Corzine, now a senator for the state of New Jersey, has teamed up with Barbara Boxer, a Californian senator, to try and pass legislation limiting the amount companies can demand their employees invest in their own stock.
