Ex-Goldmanites tap institutional funds

Kelso Place, a turnaround fund set up by two ex-Goldman Sachs executives, has successfully opened its doors to institutional investors for the first time.

The firm has raised £100m (€112m), the maximum amount it targeted for a new fund, from less than 10 institutional investors over the past six months, according to its managing partner Sion Kearsey.
