The former head of global investment banking at Bank of America, who left last year amid a shake-up of the senior ranks, has re-emerged at UniCredit.

Diego De Giorgi, a seasoned financial institutions dealmaker, has joined the board of the Italian bank as an independent non-executive director, according to a statement on 6 February.
