Ex-JP Morgan banker lands FSA markets role

The Financial Services Authority has picked a former JP Morgan banker to run its markets division, filling a role left vacant since the start of the year when the incumbent succeeded Hector Sants as head of its wholesale and institutional unit.

Alexander Justham, head of market infrastructure at the UK regulator, moves to the new role that will give him oversight of the UK Listing Authority, market monitoring and the supervision of exchanges and clearing and settlement infrastructure.
