Icap, the interdealer broker, has recruited a former director of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and former global head of currencies and commodities at JP Morgan to its board.

David Puth ran the Wall Street bank's currencies and commodities unit as well as its emerging markets business before leaving at the end of last year. He is president of Eriska Group, a risk management consultancy that focuses on alternative investments and risk management.
