Ex-KPMG partner Peter Meehan has blamed his juniors for allegedly forging documents to mislead a regulatory inspection of the firm’s 2016 audit of outsourcer Carillion, a tribunal was told.

Meehan’s barrister told a tribunal that he was a “patsy” who had been “let down” by junior members of his team.
