Oscar Hattink, a former partner at high-profile activist investment firm TCI, has tapped Morgan Stanley and UBS as the main brokers for his new hedge fund, widely expected to be among the biggest launches of recent years.
The 38-year-old Dutchman — a keen surfer who once held talks about investing in an Australian rail freight company whilst surfing at Sydney’s Bondi beach — has launched London-based BlueDrive Global Investors.
