Kweku Adoboli, the former trader who lost UBS $2.3bn through unauthorised trading, was detained earlier today in preparation for his deportation from the UK.

Adoboli, who was born in Ghana but has lived in the UK since he was 12, was due to report to police in Scotland, where he lives, this morning as a condition of his bail.
