Excessive hours and stress for people in the financial services industry are worsening despite firms’ efforts to improve the situation.

In a study of 104 senior decision-makers from financial institutions and investment banks by insurance company MetLife, revealed exclusively to FN, 95% of respondents said they were expected always to be available for work, including at weekends.
