UBS has retained its top spot in European equity research for the eleventh year in a row, while also topping the rankings in sales and trading and execution in the Thomson Reuters Extel awards.
The Swiss bank was once again ranked top for European research, in a survey which took in the views of 2,250 buyside firms, 2,500 analysts and 750 of Europe's largest quoted companies.
