UK firm F&C Asset Management has hired a team of hedge fund managers from London & Capital, a UK asset management boutique, the first step in a programme of hires it announced last month.

Three hedge fund managers, Sanjay Joshi, Rabbani Wahhab and Mario Nicolaou, have joined F&C, along with analyst Shilen Shah. They plan to launch a fixed income hedge fund, with a global focus, in the next two months.
